not sure. the locum i saw was pretty stoopid. it was weird. i felt something go when we walked down the stairs from the deck' date=' but thought nothing more of it. we rode for about another two hours. it only got painful after having a pub lunch with my mate stuey. it's kinda swollen but i can put weight on it. will see my doc tomorrow.[/quote']

If you have R400 to spare per consultation, go speak to Dr Jon Patricous if you are after a good sports physician. It might take a day or 2(3?) to get an appointment...

Hope it is nothing too serious (I mean something other than gout)

thanks, it was odd. i dinged my knee on the bars early, but it was uncomfortable rather than sore. i was out of the saddle mostly on the uphill bits, but i thought that this discomfort came from a lack of fitness smiley9.gifand tight joints.

Hey guys! Sorry I bailed so early today, but I was so hungover I couldn't even trackstand! I had a nice nap when I got home, then some lunch (breakfast) and then I started feeling better slowly.

Went back to the park in the afternoon to do some riding and some building, and I'm seriously impressed with the GT. The geometry makes the bike MUCH more stable on the rear wheel than the other toy, so I made lots of progress today.

We left the park just after 7, after finishing the trials rig we started building. We'll still add balance beams and a few small things before we start with the expert rig. I hope I can get a handle on the beginners stuff by the time we're done with the expert rig.

Oh, the unicycle guys are crazy! They were riding the trials rig with us!

Just a thought - mebbe AM will let us put an inconspicuous board somewhere in the shop or reception for hubbers. Just write your name on the board when you arrive and take it off when you leave. Its a start!

that's be cool!

although i suspect that dark-haired dude at reception that was drooling all over hog's bike will soon know everyone anyway!

Yup Holy. Was good meeting you.  Maybe next time we'll get to do some riding and not just chin wagging.

Me thinks we're gonna hit the big jump again this weekend.  It's just that I am stuck in Secunda for 4 days a week for the next 4 months.Dead
