wish i could put a thumbs-up and a thumbs-down in the message icon field.

had a great morning riding with msbehavn and the thug! thanks guys! got a little spin in on hog's new baby. sweet ride, bud! met daft vader. even sweeter ride, dude. that bike is...seriously awesome! any other hubbers there?

on the down side, i walked in from the parking lot midmorning, and heard someone trying to get hold of an emergency contact for a downed rider. from what i gleaned (eavesdropped!) he was knocked unconscious and was stretchered to the clubhouse. they wanted to take him to hospital, but couldn't get medical aid details. guys, it's not that hard to carry some - iceid, sweatsafe - type of details on you. print out copies of them and get them stapled to your registration form? will mail geoff about this tomorrow.

rant over, hope the dude's ok, and got sorted in the end. any hubber know him maybe?

i thought medial aid details were compulsory when you complete that indemnity form?? i know they wanted mine when i bought my multi-entry ticket ...

a few incidents this morning ... first some people fixing something on a bike in the middle of the track on green mile, and 5 metres further the helper's bicycle also lying in the middle of the track ... a little later 5 kids coming from the front just as i entered wetlands ... and later another incident on green mile where the mom and son stood in the middle of the track while she inspected the damage on his knee after he came off, and then the mum screaming abuse at me when i asked them to move aoof the track, cos they're invisible from around the corner ...

very pretty bike, hog!  Big%20smile

I had a great morning with you and Thuggie, HR - in spite of my appalling lack of bike skills LOL

That first drop-off/rolldown thingy right at the start made a huge dent in my confidence (you think next time we can do some flat stuff first???!) and then there was my fantastically execute swan-dive through the foliage to the river bed 15ft below.  Where the hell are supercycling when stuff like that's happening to me?!

My second "lap" was a lot ummm neater Wink

I agree with you about the medical aid details, holy.  It doesn't help if you leave them in your car, people - if you're unconscious, the emergency personnel don't have time to go looking for the stuff!  I think I saw that IceId have got a special on this month for 10% discount for hubbers or something - it'll be the best money you could spend!!

Also, someone should suggest that they get a bike wash going similar to the one at Northern Farm.

not sure. the locum i saw was pretty stoopid. it was weird. i felt something go when we walked down the stairs from the deck, but thought nothing more of it. we rode for about another two hours. it only got painful after having a pub lunch with my mate stuey. it's kinda swollen but i can put weight on it. will see my doc tomorrow.
