Urban Trials ride

even if you just enjoy jumping pavements

======

Original post:

Anyone interested in Trials riding, come along for some fun at the Bryanston Bike Park this Sunday at 16h00.

Nothing hectic, we'll just be having some fun and learning some tricks in the Trials playground. Don't worry if you can't do Trials, I can't either. we can practice trackstands together. Wink

You don't need a special bike to learn the basics either. Just put your seat down and you're good to go. Flat pedals are also a good idea.

Wow. Just frikken wow. It doesn't seem THAT huge when you're on it. We can probably have 2/3 guys on the rig at the same time and they won't be in each others' way. I love it!

I had a few beers last night on a job well done. Think I should have had a few more now that I see this.

Thanks! Lotsa fun, although not many people are brave enough to try it. The kiddies seemed to like running around on it, we didn't have the heart to chase them away. It really is great fun, and very rewarding when you pull off something new.

I can't wait to go riding there with you guys!

Anyone know what this distance is on that gap from the 'top stair' to that other pallet infront of it?

It's a little more than a bike length, I think. It'll be a challenging jump for most. The nice thing is the balance beams connect most of the rig together.

Let us know when you can come through then we'll have some fun.

Only one bike length???

Looks longer...

Shouldn't be too tough.

It's a little longer than a bike, but the step is also about 2 pallets higher, which will help. But yes, for more advanced riders it shouldn't be too tough.
