Apparently Solomons is selling Michelin Lithion tyres (foldable) for R189.

I wondered if anyone's ridden with this tyre and can recommend it.

I've bought foldable (yellow) Michelins from Solomons before. They were R90 each. But the quality was poor.

I haven't used Michelin Lithion tyres but my bike came with Michelin Dynamic tyres, which is an entry level tyre.

All I can say is stick to Gatorskins.

I think I had 1 puncture on my old set of wheels which have Gatorskins, on my Michelin Dynamics I've already scrapped 2 tubes and 1 tyre.

Now my bike has 1 x Michelin Dynamic tyre & 1 x Brand new Gatorskin.

If you do purchase the Lithion please give me some feedback.

Gatorskins @ R350 ea are a bit expensive.

If I go above R300, then I'd rather get the Continental Chili compound tyres, which Solomons is selling for R390 or thereabouts.

Hey JulesBig%20smile

Did u buy them yet? Cause I'm also considering getting me a set. I've checked them at Solomons and they look a bit pale and poor quality.

But I don't know I could be wrong, maybe the looks can be deceiving.
