no one out there who has got a set of the da 7801 and can offer some good advice on how good they really are or are the 7801's just hear say???

I dont have the Dura Ace wheels, but I do have a set of equips and have broken several spokes. My Elites seem to be much stronger, but the freehub body seems to be on its way out - it feels a bit loose (wobbles).

Speak to bike shops and see how many Shimano wheels need attention vs Mavic and that might make up your mind.

The DA's will surely be lighter as well...

thanks  for that,

i always thought the equips were a better set than the elites and as my equips have only got 1500km i havent had a problem yet?

however i always believed the da with ceramic bearing etc would probably be a better bet but never could afford  a new set , but this hub is a "fountain " of info so will trust and await all your input before making my decision?

are ther any weight restrictions on the da wheels?? my weight range 88 - 95(winter special)
