For me it was about finishing the damn thing. That's why I handed in my number and carried on cycling through to Greenpoint. Collected my medal when I crossed the line.
Not a medal kinda guy but this one is special.

Yeah, i had the "H" emblazoned on my calf, as well as the name-plate...

 

Couldn't find a random smartie box though, so i substituted a Beacon Mallow Egg in it's place...

 

Didn't see anyone else though - started in CC...
