Another question for you guys...

As I have just started riding after a years rest I am getting back into it...

Races: I have done 3 this year:

ride for site: 60Km

Randforntein: 67 Km

Springbok: 80

question is should I be concentrating on the shorter rides under 80 km or should I be pushing for more mileage on the bike and go for the longer and keep imporving at the longer mileage...?

You need to determine what you wanna achieve.

Do you have a goal? Perhaps a 3:00 for 94.7 or something.

Once you have determined that, the hubbers will be more than helpful in their advice.

You need to adapt your training to that goal. Ie if you wanna ride 100k's, gotta train for it, and that will give you the answer 40/80?

Great thanx for the feedback...

Goals...ummm my last 94.7 was a smidgen under 4 hours so yea if I could achieve a 3h30 for the 94.7 that would be great!
