Hey, can some of you name/tell me where to do a great amount of km on the bike - dirt / single track anything. Want to do a few hours but also alot of km - thus - flatter terrain.

Been doing jonkershoek and Paarl for a long time now and getting a tired of the same/loop routes. The climb up to the top contour line is good but then the rest of the ride is Downhill.

name a few plz.

Heard some names - Eden ? Coetzenburg route ? Tell me where they are and how to get there.

Other areas also welcome

Delvera farm - want to try this aswell.

Eden won't give you much distance, but very nice singletracks and downhill lines. That's paradyskloof road turnoff from the R44 towards Strand. Just follow the road untill you are in front of the forest.

Then you can ride Bothmaskop, long steep climb, nice downhill.

Coetzenburg is nice to do, but not for distance, but for fun! You can climb from Coetzenburg all the way over to eden (paradyskloof) then ride your heart out there on all the singletracks and climb back towards Coetzenburg again.

You can link these up with you jonkers ride, returning from jonkershoek, go over the hangbrug, over coetzenburg, climb over to eden and back.

Endless possibilities!!!

Where is the hangbrug again ? Comming from jonkershoek then...

Just as you go pass Lanzerac you get a left turnoff, there used to be a traffic circle. Take the left and carry on with that road. Goes over one stop street, then 1 or 2 speed humps, then a turn to left, onto gravel, your'e there!

Let me know when then I can join you / you can join us for an Eden ride. You can do PLENTY of k's in Eden. Well, I suppose that depends on what your idea of plenty k's is. Nice technical k's. Delvera is nice, Jonkers have lots to offer if you are willing to explore beyond the normal.

Try Majik Forest in Durbanville for some change, Tokai is a must and so too is Lebanon and to some extend Oak Valley.

Oh and remember to turn right after you crossed the eersterivier (at the hangbrug), you then go through a gate, over some private property, then the climb starts that'll take you to coetzenburg. At Top of this climb go left up the mountain path again. (through another gate) Rather take some time to explore the first time

Crow -- Would like to join you guys. We ride everyday 2-3 of us - from 6pm. Still need to get home after work etc. So will be able to meet somewhere at 6. Would like to do 50+km or something like that.

Explored jonkershoek inside out. Done most rides where not many are willing to go.

Training for the transbaviaans and need to do some longer rides, even if at slower pace. Been doing hard riding 30+km for  a while now, but need some time in saddle.
