Chain Lube

Can anybody pls tell me how often a chain should be lubed?I find that if i lube it now i have to lube it again every second or third ride or 100 to 120 km.

 

Or am i doing it wrong??

Every time you clean the bike which should be before every ride.

Yup, I try lube my chain before every ride (MTB). Use Squirt.

(Road) - every so often, much more forgiving.

One question, should one use a a chain cleaner or do you just clean it off with degreaser? Asking as I've screwed up my motorbikes chain by never cleaning it and need to replace it after 15'000km.

I put the chain on the webber to burn nice and clean. Then re-lube.....

 

Just don't let it touch your meat....

Could just leave my bike in kitchen and tell the maid under no circumstances must she clean the chain.

ZEBB oven cleaner comes to mind.......
