I currently run 2 wheel sets. Got crossmark 2.1's on the one with mountain king 2.4's

If things are really wet or loose the mountain kings rock. The crossmark's like the harder dry stuff.

The basic ones are el-cheapo made in china type tyres, while the more expensive ones like the ust or black chilli compound models are made in germany, there is allot of info on this on the weight weenie site...

Conti if you want performance and grip. Crossmark if you want durability.

According to me Conti is great in as jack of all terrain and doesn't mind the occasional wet patches. On my first set of Crossmarks now, so can't comment but they should be beter than TTs - if you spit they slip

I found these small "cuts" on my Conti after a year and I'm of the opinion that it caused a bit of problems with the tubeless effect - as most of the slime you put in tries to seal them - so not much left to do proper job. But just my opinion!
