Anyone ever tried a standard (folding) Hutchinson Piranha Air Light on a UST rim as tubless??

Dont know about the conversion but I have heard that the sidewalls are quite weak so I dont think this will be the best option for your purpose.

 

The same tyre can be bought in tubeless ready or you can try some Bontrager jones xr team tyres, 2.0 tubeless ready is supposedly 485g a tyre.  Im very happy with mine as a stans conversion.

im using them on Dtswiss no tubeless rims

i use the stans conversion, they inflated with co2 canister.

i run them 30psi front and 35psi rear on my hard tail

5 months now, no hassels

I tried them with ghetto once, and they blew of the rim, thats why  am nervous

If you weigh more than 70Kg - stay away.

ya, dont inflate more than 45psi, they will pop off the rim
