So I have been using Energy Dynamics now for some years, but it is getting increasingly more and more difficult to get the product. Confused

So it looks like it is time to change...  Rule number 1 for any company - ensure your products are easily available, and look after your existing customer base...  Oops!? Dead

Anyone have some good ideas and/or recommendations.  I have been looking at Biogen, more specifically their Cytogen product.

Must agree with you. Energy dynamics realy is a great product and i prefer it. However, their service is shocking. I have to make a point and order it from my local bike shop well in advance because it takes very long for them to respond. It is sad but i probably also would have to think of changing.

There are 3 products that i would look at. Lots of my friend use FIT and they are very happy. Some others use hammer nutrition and they swear by it. I think they have the best recovery drink though. Another product who really does a lot of research is powerbar. Just a bit expensive but apparently worth it

Does Cyto Max also have a gel?  I note that PowerBar does have one...

I like to use the same product for a drink and a gel.  I believe they do support each other better.  Does that make sense?

cyto max have a gel and it is very well priced. If you feel that it will work better for you if you stick to same brand then i promise you it will. Theoretically though any gel will help. The carbs are what you need and that is what any gel is. Some contains more vit, others contain bit of protein and others some fat. What is important though is that it contains some dextrose and fructose (not all carbs as the same simple sugar)

I found that the cytomax gel made my tongue a bit numb but im positive that it does the job. Cytomax is a good product

I use the enery dynamics gel. Like the taste. Before this i used the cytomax gel. Everybody raves about the whasp gel. I'll give it a bash on a long ride. Think it retails for about R22 or more per gel, i might be wrong. Just cant get myself to pay that much for a gel. I get the energy dynamics gel for R8 per gel and it works well

Whasp energy drink has been launched and is cost effective, has 5 single sachets in the tub, plus free gel and big zip lock bag with 20 servings inside

What you as the public must understand is that there is resistance in the market from shops, i find it very difficult to get into LBS...not sure why ?? we have great prduct at a very good price, we very active at getting the brand out there and still we dont get shelf space...so not always our fault

Believe me we not keeping product off shelf purpose...

Just to clarify...the Energy Dynamics products are all now PVM branded, and many of them have been reformulated. The Octane energy drink now has 10% protein peptides, the Ignite recovery drink is now ReIgnite, and the Protein Blast is now Protein XTR. I still see the products everywhere, so weird that some of you battle. They are a great company, with great products.

but its not easy to find anymore ..... and who did the rebranding, and why, and surely there should have been a structured marketing campaign to go with it?

One day a marketing diploma will use Energy Dynamics as a case study on why you should never UN-market something that has a good name!
