These are some of the concerns that have been raised by fellow hubbers:

1."Are those stickers standard??

Something just dosent look right with that fork. Has it been re-sprayed"

2."looks suspect....color of stickers....sitting right next to me is a guy who works at Omnico."

This was the seller's reply to the first comment:

"Resprayed? What type of question is that?

No she hasnt been re-sprayed, its probably because it the off white colour and not the pure white one?"

The fox forks are off white as standard, kind of a cream colour.

What year model is the fork? My 08 RL in black has the same lower stickers but the top ones are clear/silver in colour and not white, so this is probly for the 2007 model, as the 08 one has a fox decal on the part that connects the fork as well.(arch?)

Go lookon the site, the old models are still in the archives

Cool - maybe one other comment, starting this thread is a bit of a poke in the eye for Master216 (not that I know the oke) like saying you don't trust him. Bit swak y'know....

I disagree.

I pm'd Master and let him know that it wasn't personal, that I was not an expert (I have been mtb'ing since November) and that I would like to get some advice first.

Isn't that what the hub, this forum and experts like yourselves are for?

The difference between the F100 stickers on the black fork and the white one is that F100 is centered and facing forward on the black fork, where the F100 on the white fork is more inwards of the leg - could be that the decals were applied skew in the first place.

Maybe a better FOCUSED photo will reveal more detail...

the FOX decals are replacable so it's likely that the previous owner has replaced them or difernet decals were applied at teh factory. Perhaps it's a OEM fork with decals applied to match colout of original bike it was fitted to.

The arch and leg rpofile is FOX, so it is a genuine fox. the locl out lever is also Fox so it's appears to be a genuine Fox product.

An F100 RL at that price is very good, the steerer is a bit short if just under 190mm, so you would need to verify what steerer length your bike requires.

Must admit the stickers did look odd to me, but it could be a difference in year models (vintage). My F100 RLC 08 looks different.

Just someting to check, ask him to measure the distance between the drop outs or take a different picture with the fork flat on the floor. Could be an optical illusion, but it looks to tail in towards the dropouts. If you get the measurement let me know I will compare with my F100.

On another note the difference between RL and RLC is that the RLC has Compression adjustment, the opposite of Rebound. Allows you to set the speed at which the fork will compress. The L - Lockout.

Most forks only have lockout and rebound, so this is no a biggie. May have missed it, but what's the year model on this fork?
