What do think these will be like for MTB'ing? Will they handle the changing light conditions in singletrack? Your thoughts please.

I would rather go for photochromic lenses. Can change to clear for darker light conditions. Rydons are awesome gogs.

Yip, I use Rydons with photochromic lenses for road and mtb. Excellent for both.

I used Rydons with photochromic lenses for road and mtb. Excellent for both. Just recently lost my 3rd pair fk, can't afford to replace and insurance is a bit iffy at the moment. I woner why??

I have the photochromic lenses as well...best for both worlds.  Wouldn't go for the laser orange...look funky but not practical for single areas with lots of light changes

These are nice glasses, and so is the price Wink

 

Are there any equivalent sunglasses out there?

You just cannot go wrong with the Rydon with Photochromic Clear lenses.... especially going ito winter now. You'll be hard pressed to find a more versatile pair of cycling shades.
