Chain and Cassette Queries

Squirt, is a lube, just like all other lubes. They have a great marketing platform though and it's a local company. Thats fantastic and asrong selling point in my book. It is NOT a superior lube however.

Well, to me the ultimate test was last years Freedom Trail, one of the coldest and wettest ever, the event was sponsored by Squirt, it did not last forever in those conditions, what lube would, but ask the FT RASA guys that used it...

well everyone has an ultimate test.

 

To me that ultimate test should a reciprocating ball test or something similar I think you will find that all chain lubes function beautifully under tests.

 

Loving a lube is a mass debate affair. ....

 

everyone has different strokes. Saying that Squirt is superior to Anythng else is like saying christianity is superior to islam.

That would be purely subjective and no real value other to communicate a belief.

I use a Rapid rise, I am not too sure wheter this puts less or more Shear Stress on the chain than a conventional Derailleur??

Sorry, I didn't factor in the Titanium rings. I revise my comment.

 

As for the Rapid rise, there's no difference there, doesn't bother a chain whether it is Rapid Rise or High Normal.
