Bicycling mag = bad

Got mine in the post today, very slim but i liked the article on Shimano's new electonic group set and the article on softail vs hardtail has been covered before but was worth reading again. Other than that not much else.

I want to hear if someone is also experiencing this crappy service from Bicycling magazine.

At this year's Argus MTB registration day some girl talked me into a subscription. It was stupid' date=' because I don't read the mag, too much roadie stuff. But that's besides the point.

It was so cheap, I decided what the hell, why not? It should have started with the March issue. To this day I have not received anything.

I mailed their person responsible for subscriptions at the end of March, complaining etc. He told me all sorts of things like "send us the invoice" and all sorts of details like that. I told him to get his stuff in order and asked if they have lost my subscription application? and to let me know when I can expect my magazine. After some mails back and forth, they confirmed that my subscription will commence with the May 2009 issue.

Well, it is the 7th today and still no magazine. Mailed them again 2 days ago and still no reply.

Anyone else got this from them? Knew I should not have gotten involved in the first place. The mag sux anyway

I got suckered into a subscription a few years ago. After 2yrs of late delivery of the magazine I just cancelled it. I won;t buy the mag either, it's rubbish.

What would you chaps like to see in the Bicycling mag? I dont find it to bad. My suggestion is dont buy it if you dont like it

I'm still waiting for the magazine people to tell me what's happening. no reply yet. some kind of server error they told. mailed the person responsible directly. still nothing. ai ai ai.

Why don't you ask them to forward your money to Sean Badi and subscribe you to TREAD mag. It is really a good read pity it only comes out quarterly at the moment dedicated to MTB.

Rather a good magazine quarterly than a load of dung every month I  guess...
