For those who want to find out more..

Firstly, we all have our opinions and the right to inform.

But I really do not go for all these scare articles as they will always lead to a competitive article. Going apeshi1t about aspartame cause it tastes *** is one thing, but say its going to kill me - I don't care and the points have already been made. Create your own threads instead of hijacking others.

Just remember one word "Moderation" - its the answer to all these scare articles Tongue

So by saying this you pretty much have null and voided your first statement...

And, erm, its not a scare article. If you pulled your head out of your backside you'd realise it has scientific proof supporting the statements. Do the research.

I only posted this so people can make up their own minds, which they have a right to do. Hijacking a thread means changing the topic, starting a personal conversation or creating some sort of diversion, I have done neither. So before you completely ignore a mere "educate yourself" article try not to be so aggressive in your approach. What's in this deal for you??

Wait, check this one out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspartame_controversy

blah blah blah ... A 2007 safety evaluation found that the weight of existing scientific

evidence indicates that aspartame is safe at current levels of

consumption as a non-nutritive sweetener ... blah blah blah

and some more blah blah blah ... For a 75 kilograms (165 lb) adult, it takes approximately 21 cans of

diet soda to consume the 3,750 mg of aspartame that would surpass the

the FDA's 50 mg/kg ADI of aspartame.

The whole issue about this product is and its conspiracy theory is how it was approved and not why it was approved.

Refer also to the last section of the article "Government action and voluntary withdrawals" and see how little global action has been done.
