Hi guys.

I joined the Morewood family recently thanks to Dubbelbuys.

Took my Scott Scale and moved all the parts over to the Zula frame.

Here is a before and after...

My apologies for my amateur picture uploading skills, seems like you're going to have to click on the picture to see it properly

Welcome to the Morewood family!

Looking nice Alex!

Glad the bike got a good home (instead of gathering dust in my man cave)

Many happy miles!!!

Blackspire Stinger chain guide and Shimano Saint pedals are back on after the race.

Now I just need to decide between a Reverb and a Lev.

1 at a time Patches! :whistling:

I wouldn't have sold to you anyway.

Didn't want you to do such a nice paintjob on it so that I will regret selling it.

Well in all honesty: I would have loved to keep it, but don't know when I will have the time or money to build up & ride yet another bike.

Just had to post a bit more updated pic...

"Swopped" the Fox DHX air for a RS Monarch RT3 (with rapid recovery).

It cost a pretty few pennies, but makes a world's difference!

Awaiting an (1.5*) angleset from workscomponents.co.uk

Will take & post some before & after photos of the head angle.

My wife's new frame. I am going to transfer parts from her current frame to this one. I will post more pics as soon as I am done with the build.

Aha.. I can post a pic of my ride here too.. brilliant ;) zula 27.5 (size small)

And one of both our sweet rides.

Yeah Gen - this is where we Morewood freaks hang out & are free to post our loved & trusted steeds (many times over even with little upgrades)

I really like the colour scheme of the new Zula.

Maybe if I itch enough... (one day :whistling: )

I must actually post pics of the detail on the paint job..those little things they add that makes it oh so sweet.

And I can confirm.. that idiot that said it's not about the bike... well he was talking BS. Never been as comfy on a bike as on the zula. Got her on saturday, went for a short ride that day and on sunday we did a 70km ride just to check the setup and fine tune and see what she's like over a longer distance.. man was great.

Do morewood offer custom paintjobs straight from the factory?

Mmm not sure. I can't see why not.

I think they can do a custom colour, but the decal kits will be as per the original kit.

Pain or Shine hasa Sukuma in yellow (similar to the PYGA Pascoe yellow).

I've mailed Steve asking if the factory could replicate the blue that I used on my Sukuma. I would still do my own decal designs though. I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from them.

Now just for tat darn stem to arrive so that I can post a pic of the 3 M's in the stable standing next to each other.

They can customise in terms of colour, but the decals remain the same. So your colour choice needs to fit in with the colour of the decals. They can make a frame in any colour seen on the frames on their website.

My shova below, is translucent blue. When the sun shines on the frame you can see machining and grinding marks. Morewood's paint jobs are awesome.
