Ryan Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 I have seen this topic on the hub before but i cannot find it. Does anybody ride and recommend the Mountain Kings. I need to replace my tyres and have no clue what to go for. Not running tubeless. Old school tubes and liners. Mostly trail riding. The spruit, NF, occasional race (Barberton, Forest2Falls etc) What other options would be recomended? Thanks.

M44SE Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 I ride Conti 2.2 back 2.4 front, the 2.4 in the front is awesome for grip, no washing out!! very good on grip all round, been thru 3 back tyres this year with cuts, conti's are very expensive, but i prefer the grip. Maxxis last longer abit cheaper

Moab Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 If you are not looking at UST Conti's look at Sports Direct. They have fairly good prices on the Mountain Kings. I have just ordered UST Race and Mountain Kings from CRC based on advice from Andrew McLean - he rode Mountain King front, Race King back for epic and did not have problems with them.
