Capcha Posted May 21, 2009 Share Hi Guys, wonder if you can help? I am starting up cycling after about 15 years. When I cycled road back in the day, I rode a 57 frame. I now want to start on a MTB but not sure what the eq would be. Im 1,78m tall. Anyone know what size MTB i would need?
Christopher Brunsdon Posted May 21, 2009 Share Im 1,76m a got a 17" - best is to go to the LBS and try them out. Would have gone 18" but my wife also wants to use my bike - and it will eventually become hers. To be hounest, I'm glad I went 17" and not 18" - don't feel like banging my nuts when I dismount to quickly

Ryan Posted May 21, 2009 Share Definately a 17.5" or 18". Medium in some ranges. Smaller frame = better handling. (and lighter is an added bonus)
Tumbleweed Posted May 21, 2009 Share inside leg length?
