Whipme Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Hi guys I've just signed my contract to start a new job in July, and with it comes some interesting transport possibilities... I'm looking for a folding bike, something small and light. I'm thinking of something like the Giant Halfway or the Giant Clip, but I haven't seen any folding bikes at my LBS. I know that the Halfway was brought into SA about two years ago, and they've expanded the range internationally, does anyone know where I might be able to find something like that? The reason I'm looking specifically for a folding bike is that I could easily put it in my car for the trip to work, and then just take it out and ride it when I go to varsity (which is about 4km from my new office). It will also allow me to bike from home to bus station so I can make use of the Gautrain system when it becomes active. Please help

I had a lifestyle change two years ago and now no longer travel as much. My wife's one has probably only done 200kms. Mine, maybe 1 000. I've been meaning to get rid of them. Come and make me an offer.

I've managed to find a Giant Halfway at Bruce Reynecke for around R6.8k, which is R2400 more than when I was looking last year!!! At this rate I'm going to chop a BMX in half and put hinges in
