Arnie Posted June 3, 2009 Share Hi fellow hubbers and experts I currently ride witha FSA Energy crank and would like to know besides the 40g weight advantage in favour to a Dura Ace crank, what other differences are there if any between the Energy and Dura Ace cranks..... Are they actually directy camparable or does the FSA compare to something lesser such as an Ultegra crank.
gummibear Posted June 3, 2009 Share From what i have read Dura ace is one of the stiffest cranks available.

Sammajoor Posted June 4, 2009 Share So you want to spend money on a new crank , because of what reason. Just ride your bike and use the money to upgrade to campy or SRAM
scotty Posted June 4, 2009 Share FSA you struggle to get local support and parts, i dont know if they even have a local supplier anymore.
Matchstix Posted June 4, 2009 Share I think the stiffness and flex of a crankis only valid if you pump out huge amount af watts. Personally I think its a bit of nonsense and some riders will actually say this or that is tiffer not to look stupid in front of other people. I can however agree with frame flex and wheel flex. I have the FSA K-force Light carbon MTB cranks and I enjoy them. The pedal insert did get loose at one stage but was replaced under warranty by FSA.
