FSA Crank pedal thread

The metal pedal thread has decided to detach from its holder and I now have a rather wobbly right leg.

 

 

 

Does any one know if it is possible to fix this with out buying a new one??

 

 

 

or

 

 

 

Any one have one? Know where I can get one?

 

 

 

Got a mtb our organised in July and cant go without crank!!!

get hold of the cervelo agents they are also the FSA agents and that is a warrantee replacement or take it into your lbs and the ywill contact the rep for cervelo

The pedal insert coming loose is a fairy common problem with FSA carbon cranks, judging from rants on internet forums. What year and model crank?

Unfortunately, those were some of the cranks people complained about a lot about this specific problem, on internet forums. Perhaps they fixed it with the newer k-force light series.

FSA and Truvative have the same problem.

 

I also believe that the FSA dealers in SA changed hands this year. So good luck.

 

I have an FSA that has the same problem and i have been waiting on an warranty claim since the begining of the year.

 

Don't hold your breath. Do not get another FSA or Truvative, especially if you are not a light weight. You will suffer the same fate over and over again. On MTB's they also tend to eat BB's to a way expencive chioce.

Ya I guess it is time to say goodbye to that set and move on to new horizons.

Sad as they really are a fantastic crankset. (especially with the three new blades I bought last week)
