no no no. I dont understand why you wanna go spend a hell of a lot of money on a different fork. Its the easist thing to pull apart & if its leaking out the rebound adjust then it means the seal has been pinched during assembly of the fork or its worn. Ive just pulled mine apart & i have the 302's aswell & it cost me litterally almost nothing.

Granted someone here on the hub was super duper nice to me & gave me a full bottle of fork oil. It really isnt rocket science on a coil fork to pull apart & re-asemble. I cant really speak of air forks as ive never pulled those apart

I guarentee you this. You will asemble it better than it came out of the factory & voila no more leaks. Mine also leaked & best of all it already started leaking in my car all over my front seat before i even got home. I pulled it apart as new as it was & there was my problem. The rebound damper seal was pinched. Ran off to midas & got a pretty cool seal set & fixed it myself.

If you had to do it yourself it will cost you + - R150 - Send it into a shop & they charge you +- R400. Buying a new fork will be nothing less than 2K. A simple oil leak in my eyes cannot justify the price of a new fork for you

but hey thats just me

Nice can you give me an idea on how to go about doing this, on the bright side if I cock it up, I'll have a reason to get a new one

Wannabee that sounds weird, It seems you might have the only faulty Rock shox fork out there. Is it leaking oil from the bottom you say?

Did your local shop tamper with the fork before giving it to you? That realy is arb.

Shame man, I would phone The Importers myself and ask them what to do. Ive seen rock shox toras been ridden hard by big fat guys and not serviced for Yonks and never a problem.

I would try fix the problem before you buy another fork.

When I took it back to my LBS the replaced it with another new one...... same problem, supposedly there was a problem with a batch that came fitted on the Aspect 10 bikes, but I cant say for sure, I've even replaced the adjustment "thingy" at the bottom because it keeps falling out, so I'm at a loss, who are the local agents?

Bought a Tora U-turn off the Hub - no issues so far.  Downloaded the manuals from Sram, doesn't look like rocketscience, but it does look like you have to be careful with the rebound seal
