MT of Choice under 10K?

Ok, if someone gave you 10K to blow on a MTB (and you have to) would you blow it all on the expensive one or go cheaper and blow the change on stuff like shoes, heart rate montior etc,etc,etc....????

What wold be a good buy for under 10 K? I think the Zaskar....the Avalanche Expert is really heavy!( but good components though) not sure what medrida and the  others have to offer, I know raleigh only has paper to offer at this stage since there is no stock.( apparently sold out...no sir we do not have a problem with our frames...ehmm we are sold out ..ja, that's it ,we are sold out)
