Serendipity Posted June 26, 2009 Share I found this story on Cyclingnews Cyclingnews This should start the old Roadie MTB debate again. To think Peraud is not even the best Mountainbiker in France - think what Absolon could do.
buckstopper Posted June 26, 2009 Share Burry v Jaco Venter @ SA's in March. venter 1'10 quicker over 40k. Where does Burry rank in the world... top 10. Where does venter rank in tt... top 50?

Now that is a stupid comparison. A tt is a specialist discipline, and as per your comparison, not too long ago Evans kicked Valverde's ass in tt, yet lost the overall. What I'm trying to say is, Burry is in a different league, world class. That's that.
Marius Posted June 26, 2009 Share Burry will kick Venters ass over 300km for 7days in a row.

Serendipity Posted June 26, 2009 Share That article about power output comparison was fascinating - thanks. It makes sense if you look at it that way. There really is no comparison. It is two completely different desciplines.
