AI AI AI ........

Contador was reportedly the rider who failed to keep pace when Columbia's pace at the front of the main peloton started to take it's toll on the bunch.

"When the split happened I was right on (behind) Contador's wheel' date='" claimed Fran?aise des Jeux rider Christophe Le Mevel.

"If it's true there were 29 guys in front he must have been 30th and I was 31st. It was him who caused the split."

BB , dont dare to post any truths here bru, you will get your wrists slapped big time.

The split happened when Contador was taking a nature break, he doesnt get tired/fail to keep paceShocked

Makes you wonder if it was not perhaps part of the Astana plan to create this situation??

Watching LA and Popo trying to encourage the leading group to work together, their actions seemed to be a bit put on IMO, as if they were trying to make it obvious that LA wanted the break to succeed...LA?s lead over AC is FA and should not be to much of a concern, unless of course AC doubts his own ability.

it's the 2009 version of the?

big bluff!!!!!

This is so exciting.  And we all know that Lance can act.  We will probably only know what Bruyneel is cooking up when it is on the table...

I didn't enjoy watching the tour when Lance was dominating because it was so boring - everyone already knew the outcome.  Now anything could happen.  Great stuff.

By the way, Trubie, everyone on the Hub has and is entitled to their own opinion.  Getting huffy about it won't get you anywhere except hot under the collar.

No worries for me Nothingness - I doubt Trubie was getting hot under the collar rather an observation of the 'hub way' lately LOL

Well it looks like Lance is gonna be wearing yellow tonight!

Great.  Another Lace-o-phile.  Amazing how the seem to burst out of the woodwork just as the old man catches a lucky draught!

Like maggots out of an stinking carcass.  In the nicest possible way of courseWink

Guys, say what you want, Lance Armstrong might not be a very likable person, but he is a heck of a cyclist. For anyone winning a race like the TDF 7 times in a row, come on guys, if that does not make him the best cyclist, it surely makes him just about the best cyslist we have ever seen. Yes, Iknow about Eddie Merx etc., but accept the fact that Lance was good and I personally believe he is still good. Maybe a little on the old side, but he is good.

Almost like the Blue Bull supporters every year when they see they might win. Soon as they loose the Ccup or something their support base declines by 30 %

I must have missed that observation.  Confused

Anyway lets talk about the Tour!  Whether one likes Armstrong or not, I think that what he said in the interview that led to the comments on this thread (which then appeared to have sparked some unhappiness) was out of line and will pretty much have to win to justify it.  Lets see whether he can justify what he said.  Its all happening right here folks, don't go away.  Clap
