I remember he featured strongly in the Paris Roubaix last year right up to the end[/quote'] Yes, Ballan, is very underrated, one of those cyclists who (although he denies it) can climb and sprint.His TT skills leave him a bit exposed but he is still very young. Dont you think Lampre have a wonderfull skill of finding the best young Italian riders and nuturing them up to pro-level?? I feel sorry for Leif Hoste though.... 2nd year in a row he works really hard to get into those final 2 man breakaway/sprints.... and then comes off 2nd best again.
