KDEE Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 I have been on the hub for some time now and through this forum have met some really nice guys and gals.. As usual I have been pleasantly suprised at the lengths members go to help one out and indeed the generosity. I have been given a bike for a friend, a fork, stems and other bits and bobs. And bought much stuff here with nary a problem.. But Slowbee takes the cake... I have never met Terry and had never spoken to him. Yet when i asked on the hub if someone had a relative in the UK that I could organise a parcel to be sent to, he called me from CT, arranged a delivery address, organised a mate to bring the parcel over, then delivered the parcel to our office in CT ( got lost on the way I understand ). This from someone who doesnt know me, wouldnt let me reimburse or reward, and was so helpfull that it made my year. Thanks Slowbee, you are a man amongst men.
