Wannabe Posted May 26, 2013 Share Groblord, how did the 50 miler go? Only saw you at the start, and never again. We were so late to start, the first guys were already round the 2nd bend by the time we tagged.

Wannabe Posted May 27, 2013 Share The guy with the 26 inch hoops ...by roughly 750 metres Where were we in relation to each other at the first "Tag Point", as I upped my pace seriously from there. I can honestly say that from that point on, not one other cyclist passed me from behind, but I passed lots. Had a really good 2nd 40km and finished really strong. dommisse Posted May 28, 2013 Share Rule #9// If you are out riding in bad weather, it means you are a badass. Period. Fair-weather riding is a luxury reserved for Sunday afternoons and wide boulevards. Those who ride in foul weather – be it cold, wet, or inordinately hot – are members of a special club of riders who, on the morning of a big ride, pull back the curtain to check the weather and, upon seeing rain falling from the skies, allow a wry smile to spread across their face. This is a rider who loves the work.
