picked up this old lady (De Rosa Columbus SLX)the other day... needing some TLC but she has a circa 1978 super record rear and front mech and a c-record crankset and BB. Also a complete Dia-Compe/Royal Grand Compe brakeset...

Oh yes, I've binned the pedals since acquiring her :P

Ooooh, nice MacDaddy. There's a special bike. Makes me want to get out the metal polish! (Personally, though I like the wheels, I'd use them on a later bike.)

Thx LT.... Those wheels are definitely NOT the correct age for the bike I agree. They will go onto a more modern machine I'm busy building. :)

You have to quite specific here.

The shifters you need are the Shimano 600EX BL6207 or BL6208

I think so because you definitely have the crankset FC6207 from this series.

Looks like the BR6208 brakes and the correct FD6207 and a 600SIS RD 6208

You cant use ultegra tricolor with this, you definitely need the SL620_

The gum hoods are non aero and seller: felisbarb sells quite a few NOS on ebay.com approx 20USD plus shipping

My new twin Italian built Zini's.

Blue - full Campy Super Record (1970's)

Yellow - an interesting mix of TA cranks, Zeus pedals, Huret derailers & shifters and Shimano DA brakes
