Intergrated Headset-Threadless type

I have a Cane Creek intergrated headset on my GT Zaskar, but I really like the look of the Chris King and similar threadless/External type.

Can one use both types without any type of conversion?

Is there a performane differance?

Maintainance?

Nope, not compatible. The integrated headset uses the frame as a bearing race, while the standard type has the races pressed into the head tube. CK do make a low-stack headset, but this is a different standard. For more detail, click
