Park Tools Big Blue Book of Bike Repair

 

Zinn and the art of Mountain Bike Maintenance.

I think there is a road one as well.

I have both Park big blue book and Zin, both are very good.

I just use the parktook web site, always has all the info that I need, just service the bike next to your computer, use a laptop or print the relevant section.

Park Big Blue Book is excellent, with a few exceptions. Its section on wheel repairs is a bit weak and, it doesn't give a good enough understanding on how bearings work. I would have liked to see a chapter intro just on the workings of bearings.

 

Also, it doesn't have a shock servicing section.

 

I give them away as take-aways on my courses.
