...well... I took a look at those VZ's before I sent em to you, and like you said, the frame is much stiffer, the thors are kinda rubbery.

 

But from looking at the vents, I think the VZ's are not gonna sweat up as easy. Hopefully the 2010 Thors are better ventilated.

 

But I think your VZ's look rad! If they had another pair at that price, I woulda got one for me...they would match my lid and look sooo perdee! hahaha!

Sweet guys! Think im gonna go with the Thor hero 2010, for R500 you get clear antifog AND mirrored antifog lenses! Pretty good deal i reckon!

 

yes-sir-eee! that is a pretty good deal! I can't remember where the Hero fit in the Thor range... I know Enemy is the cheapest... I think then Ally, then Hero!

 

so R500 for better goggles with 2 lenses... good deal

Loveme.DH/FR: i tried your proposed route. good potential, but man, you've gotta throw all anchors to make that turn if coming off the rockgardn. What might work, is to continue into the woods after the stepdown before the rockgardn, and totally go around the rockgardn. should give u enough speed to clear the gap that is the gully. The gap will also require abit of a ramp. I didnt see the 180 back onto SH2. how far down does it join up? If it joins up where the track makes a slight right before straightening up again, that would be perfect. What u think of a wallride as that 180?

I could kick myself!! The WHOLE time ive been riding signal hills, ive stopped at the Jeeptrack/ grassy area after SH3!!! Didnt know it linked on to the urban assault course!! Looked sketchy and vagranty so never ever rode further!! F*** me!! Thanks For the pic!! now im more amped than ever!! woop woop!

 

As for further development on the course: Whatever works! I wasnt 100% locked down on the branch off to gap, berm and then back onto SH2 Mainline. Only reason i did the rough crearing there was because, A) needed wanted more tech and turns, B) Just happened to come across a fairly clear/ridable path into the jump/gap which seemed to work.

 

Another idea i had was to put a log, sand+rocks diagonally across the Mainline after the rock garden, that can be launched over, but can also used as a berm into the Branch off. Just an idea!

 

Hope to ride soon! Caught a bit of a cold recently and still recovering.

 

On a side note, Ghetto Built my self a Chain Guide for my AC. Keen to test it out! I was losing my chain EVERY run!!!! will post pics!

dude. i can give u a chain guide. like genuinely give you one. only catch is no bashplate/taco. but honestly, if u willing to drill into the boomerang, you can buy a taco off CRC and add it in. The boomerange has space for it, and subsequent redesigns of that same chainguide shows my hack will definitely work.
