Funn Descender review

The Azonic has more reviewers, and note please, mostly XC'ers. BUt the DH'ers in that lot albeit a minority, overally seem pleased with those rims.

 

 

I see in the list of products reviews on CRC's site, they say the Descenders are the same as the Sun Ringle MTX welded rims. Those arent bad at all, so i reckon you golden choosing those. They gonna get dinged up, same as the Deemax or Deetrax's, but replacing them wont cost you a massive fortune.

That rim is like 120g heavier that the rim I have now so that 240g of extra weight

240g of weight which is going to do what exactly? Alot of WC bikes weight about 39-41lbs, and the riders are roughly in the 65 - 85kg ranges. U reckon 240g bother them much?

 

Not slagging you DHK, I'm just curious as to how much of this weight watching really is more pyschoillogical than a real crutch.
