No one with an answer??

Ok to make it more interesting... the spanner fitted on a 10Speed Centaur cassette but not on a 11 Speed Chorus..

I have a question.. Does shimano and campanolo use the same lock nut spanner?

Is the tool campy compatible?

Does campy need its own tool?? What i think the problem is why the spanner fitted on my 10 Speed Centaur and not on the 11 Chorus (I dont even know if this is possible but ill give it a try)

When i had my 10 speed Centaur cassette fitted to my wheel they used a SHIMANO lock nut on my campy cassete.. and last night we had a "Luck nut spanner" and it fitted on my wheel but not on the 11 Campy..

Ok so that just leaves me with; The local bike shop fitted my wheel with a shimano lock.

Its almost lunch.. time to give them a visit.

They both have Campagnolo? on it' date=' But on the 11 speed chorus it say "11 Speed Only Lock".[/quote']

That means the lockring will only work with an 11sp cassette, does not refer to the tool that removes it. That tool picture looks suspiciously like a shimano tool. The campag tool has much shallower and shorter indentations.
