Kansas Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 So I got sick and tired to wash the normal white (cork type) tape and replaced it with this black & white leather tape from Bontrager. Also at last I decided to buy a new saddle inform RL, also from Bontrager (146mm). Next will be a new stem 90mm will see if I can find one on the hub. Any ideas on what else I can do. Do not want to change handel bars and seat post. What do you think so far.
AndreZA Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I can not say I like that tape. It does go with the bike's colours but unless you get the wrap perfect both sides, it does not look neat. BTW, if you find another stem, I'll me interested in that one if it is 100mm.

As mommy is still recovering and sorting breastfeeding out, I got her a 3course take away meal from three of her favourite restaurants and we watched DVDs at home. I thought it would be a let down not going out, but it was actually awesome, a romantic but relaxing evening for the two of us. How was your weekend?

I did an 'around the block' (about 2hours) on Saturday and did a proper 70km ride yesterday morning. My legs still feel like someone beat me with a stick. The last rocky climb we had, one of the guys riding with, started to crack (did have any real nutrition with him), and the proper thing would have been to stop and give him some of our food, but of course we then decided to race him to the top of the hill. Sad thing, he won

Funny how we share our food on a race but practice we keep all to our self. I'm here in the States so mostly I go by my-self but I do not eat & drink the way I'm supposed to, only go once a week out with the club.
IdeJongh Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Maybe she met a guy and fell in love with his credit card...Rode with an iPod during training last week for the first time, normally just me and the sound of tires on the dirt (and ringing in my ears), and it was just awesome. Some dance music while beating up the long climbs, some Breaking benjamin when bouncing down a steep decent and some coldplay while cooling down on the way home. Got to love it.
