Bike Medicine Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 We?ve all been there, standing in a car-park looking at your mucky bikebeside your pristine motor, thinking, ?Why me?? The solution? The MobiWasher. The Mobi is a clever little compact pressure washer smallenough to store in your boot yet powerful enough to take on the grime. It can be run from your car?s 12V output or, alternatively, from amains socket and with new V17 it is completely self sufficient and so are you. Theproduct will be available online, local bike shops and in majorretailers in early October, you can Pre-order online now to avoidmissing out on the perfect X-Mas Gift. Pre-Order Now......
Iwan Kemp Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 How strong is the pressure? Cool idea, but it's never a good idea to wash your bike with a pressure washer.
Iwan Kemp Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 R1600 or R2500 for this or wait till you get home...hmmm.
Bike Medicine Posted September 15, 2009 Author Posted September 15, 2009 Let's say we do a multi stage race....Priceless.
Wernervdmerwe Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Also heard bad things about pressure washers. I use one of those pump-action spray things with a water & clean green mixture, then rinse it with a normal hose-pipe. Works great - bit not for a stage race
Iwan Kemp Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Let's say we do a multi stage race....Priceless. Nope still R1699 or R2499 plus bio-degradable bike wash soap / solvent and the schelp of lugging it around...for how many multi stage races a year? Not trying to ruin your sale so this will be my last post but for that money rather buy a proper bike stand st clean and maintain your bike at home for the other 51 weeks of the year when you're not away doing a multi stage race where it happens to rain buckets.
Bike Medicine Posted September 15, 2009 Author Posted September 15, 2009 The Maximum pressure it reaches is 9 Bar and goes down to as little as 3 bar with the adjustable nozzle. The name says it all, Mobi Washer, designed to wash and not take decals and paint off your equipment.
Cycle Factory Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 It's not paint or decals you should worry about. It's getting water passed seals and into places where you can't relube or regrease without some effort.
Abroad Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 By now the vote should tell you something.
Gasping Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Let's say we do a multi stage race....Priceless. [/quote'] ... and lets say you wash your bike down and a couple of mates bikes as well (because we are all nice people) - then push starting your car with tired legs because the battery is killed .... Priceless
Bike Medicine Posted September 15, 2009 Author Posted September 15, 2009 .....yes, lets says you are a nice guy and you offer to wash your mates bikes, I suggest you dig deep and order the V17, it is self sufficient and the only tired legs are from your efforts a couple of hours prior to getting back to your car.....Bike Medicine2009-09-15 04:51:14

Aah let me shut up. Good sales technique. I am just an ornery chop. It looks like it might be a good idea for the muddy children.
scuzzy Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I think it is quite cool, not sure when I will be able to splash money towards something like this, but I will even use it at home. If I'm not mistaken, don;t the bike shops use high pressure in any case?
Kansas Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 IdeJongh, has got a build in mobiwasher goes up to 3 bar.
AndreZA Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I also think it is nice and if I was a trail rider it would come it really handy.
