I gave my brother my old Holdfast bike rack but he says that it doesn't fit his Volvo S60. He says his car has a built-in tow hitch and that it is the mounting plate that doesn't fit.

Any Volvo owners out there know whether this is true or not? (My brother is not good with mechanical issues Big%20smile Embarrassed)

ya its true. you need a tow bar with the 2 nuts.

On the kind like you have on the volvo you would have to use a Thule which fit on the ball of the tow bar. Think they round R 1000.00

I found this on the Bike Caddy website. It bolts to the ball of the tow hook.

Thanks Mampara.  The rack isn't a gooseneck. It looks similar to this:

Do you perhaps know if there is a bolt-on attachment for this type of rack  or can you please send me the url of Bike Caddy?

Thanks again...

Thanks again Mampara. What I was actually trying to convey is that it has two bits that need to slide into the bracket and not one. Will contact Holdfast and see what they have to say.
