FORK RESPRAY

Recommended Posts

I've just replaced my 12 year old son's fork.  He rides a Scott S2 (red).  I bought a CR1 fork.  Unfortunately it's grey.

(1) Where does one go to have it resprayed?

(2) What is a reasonable price to pay to have a fork resprayed?

Thanx

I'm sure grey looks nice. If its really that bad, just ride faster. Just no butterflies please.

Go see the short guy in Bellville, dont know price for fork, but whole bike is about R1500.tarboy2009-09-19 07:30:22

Do it yourself. All you need is 3 cans of spray. Primer, colour and a clearcoat. It will cost you 90 bucks and it will look great.

Thanks, I think I'll do it myself.  Hope not too many teardrops.Cry  If I really mess up I'll use one of the other links.

paint in cans are rubbish and dont last. Try white with clearcoat over (cans) and give it 3months max and it will be yellow.

Get it done by a proffesional. Just my 2c
