As physiotherapists, we often come across people who we know are in desperate need of physiotherapy, and for whom we can do so much in improving their quality of life and general well-being.

 

However, it is interesting to be made aware of the fact that the general public has not been informed of all the uses of physiotehrapy, and what the benefits of seeing your physiotherist on a regular basis holds for the individual.

 

When asked what physio is all about, the answer has become frustratingly predictable: "Physios are massage therapists" or "Physios just hurt people".

 

But it is so much more than that. We would like everyone to participate in this forum and let us know what you think Physiotherapy is all about. Your input will be highly appreciated, and will be used as a platform to help inform the community of the uses and benefits of Physiotherapy.

my physio's called claudia, and, yeah, she can deliver some hurt, but she's cute so i don't mind...
