35kmh is about right' date=' faster if characters like OB are there. The only thing missing from their rides are the timing mats.

They a bunch of pansies, ride 50km then stop and have tea and biscuits, then 50 km home, ride is about 30 to 35kph, only fast part is the last 4 km down Atlas road. If you want to train, ride by yourself, if you want a social ride, go with TDF

I've heard about the tea and biscuit thing but unfortunately keep missing that.

Too slow Scotty? I know how you feelsmiley5.gif

I can keep up most some on the odd occasion , but usually the group splinters and frans back up van does not always follow behind the last rider and i end up riding escourt for dropped souls.

I'm in Sunwardpark but will meet you anywhere.

There used to be a group that started from the Engen(?) garage on Kingfisher, close to Rondebult Road in Freeway Park. I don't know if they are still around or what time they start though!

Look up a Hubber named Melissa - she (he) tried to con me into riding with her (him). Very suspect - Hubber joins today, has 0 posts and picks me to want to ride with her (him).

Got my area wrong when I asked where she (he) was and said Sunward Park. Hey, maybe she (he) wants to tag along?

Come ride with TDF on Sunday' date=' it is not that bad[/quote']

I will be there! If they leave me behind so be it. I'm comfortable at 30 - 35km/h so we will see how it goes.Big%20smile

It is normally about that on the way out, sometimes gets up to about 45km when the hormones kick in but Frans pulls it back very quickly. He does not like the group splitting on the way out.

On the way back he lets the hormones do their thing but there is a slower group which forms at the back and at your speeds mentioned you should comfortable stay with them

Come intro yourself on Sunday - ride leaves at 05:30am - I am on the best bike in the group a black BH :)
