Hi Huber?s <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I am looking at buying a set of the Equinox tubular wheels, and need to find out some things.

1. It?s got a campag body on it, can it be changed to shimano and at what cost and where?

2. Is the tubular a good way to go or is it better to have clinchers.

3. What is the disadvantage to having tubbies and Cost?

Thanks Craig

Get hold of Neil Macdonald from team medscheme, he used to bring in the equinox stuff and he said to me a while ago he's still got some stock.

Tubbies are nice, but the cost can be a bit hectic, if you consider the cheapest tubbies you can buy retail at +-R450 and the price goes up from there, whereas a top end clincher can go for +-R6-700.

Also with tubbies to repair them is a hassle, it can be done, I've done it plenty, whereas a clincher you just change the tube @ an average of R50...

Hi Guys

Thanks for the info, i am not sure what model they are all i know is thay are about a 2 years old.

Looks like it might be a better option to get a set of clincher.

What should i be looking for?
