Gauteng's Toughest Race: Telkom Satellite or 94.7?

I see the elites did the Telkom Satellite in 2hrs 24 as opposed to a 2hrs 14 for the 94.7

Fun Question time - which race was the toughest for you?

I thought the 94.7 was slightly tougher due to 220m of extra elevation and heat and wind factor which would not affect the pro's so much - although the Telkom had Hekpoort...

Due to a broken chain I can't really compare times although I would guess an extra 5minutes on the 94.7 for me.

For me the 94.7 was more difficult than Telkom. Most of Telkom was flat, so you can save lots of energy for hekpoort then you do the hill and it is over with. With the 94.7 the climbs were spread throughout the race. Must get these legs stronger for next year:)

The Dome2Dome was the toughest race untill they shortened it.........so 94.7 for now....

94.7 without doubt

94.7 - 44+ km's ascent

Telkom - 24 km's ascent

 

Suppose if you're a climber 94.7 wouldnt be your toughest.

For me @ 95kg's - def is hardest I've done this year.

Albeit a bit shorter and i did not do it this year i think the R4V might be tougher.
