I think auctioning it would be a brilliant idea... that way you get something back for helping every1 out! Sounds like you deserve it...

 

For everyone getting their bikes back, remember if you filed a report with the police, the bike belongs to them, not you. So make sure you contact them and check what they require you to do before just taking it back... Also make sure the police know about this happening, maybe they can catch the guys at the border at some stage (haven't been there myself so don't know what the border is like or if this would be possible).

Any photos of items that was stolen, serial numbers, dates, time, location, etc. (as much information as possible), you can mail us at crimefightersa@gmail.com. We will update our blog and spread the word on twitter as soon as possible. The idea behind all this is to do something about crime; although we are small, we hope and work towards a much larger audience to spread the word and stand together to fight crime in South Africa.

You buy the bikes back from the LBS? Then the original owner pays you back, so he pays for his bike 2x?

Where in Moz are you situated?

I was there last year this time and only got R 2.50 /met, wish it was this year!
