You read it here first - Our BIG news for 2010 On-One gets into carbon. Yes, we are breaking the hot news that we have been spending the past 6 months working on developing the On-One fleet by using the black wonder material and were getting very close to launching some hot new models in 2010.This is a World exclusive sneak preview to the first product to be launched in what we will be a first year launch of three exclusive frame designs plus the worlds first, only, and probably last carbon29er rims.Working alongside one of Europes leading carbon bike designers - a man so elusive and secretive that he can will only be photographed with a paper bag on his head, and with product development and testing involving the likes of our multi world champion adventure racer Richard Ussher its going to be a big and bold move for us.

Were getting very close to tooling now. First up is the classic 456 which gets the carbon makeover transformation - making On-One one of the first companies to produce a true ground up exclusive own design, ideal for UK conditions, long travel hard-tail, award winning designed, perfect for all mountain long days out .First sample here end December so Peak District riders should keep their eyes peeled for glimpses of a no longer not so top secret pre production prototype kiwi ridden off the radar wonderbike in theChristmas holidays .

More next week...

I've got the bigger pics here, it looks like they have also got a 1.5" lower bearing in the headset. The chain stays are very tall but thin to take big tyres as well.

More info:

The 456 gets the 11/8-1.5 steerer and Ballistic Kevlar/Carbon treatment. The 29er (Lurcher) is getting Flax/Carbon technology and has SRAM XX in mind BB92 etc? The Whippet has gone Carbon and is being refined to RACE weight? They ALL have the swap-out dropouts so are SS friendly.

Looks Great Kiwi!! Any idea yet on pricing?

(PS - Did you ever get any news on those new model Lynskey Titanium On-One frames?)

Hi Zaskar,

Very interesting 29er! looks like direct and E type? front derailleur mounts, internal cabling, 1/8 to 1 1/2 headsets and post mout rear disc brake mounts and more!

The new versions of the Ti 29er and 426 Ti aren't going to be made by Lynsky so we will be able to get them easier and they will be cheaper. Only pic so far is the head tube:
