Anybody using this feature with Tacx Catalyst software? Its great as you can load any race from your Garmin on the trainer software, and it similates the whole route for you while pedalling. Got mine this weekend and its magic.

I need the Garmin files of the major races now.

Im in the process of looking to buy an I-magic. Simply as I have nobody in Witbank to cycle with so I thought this would be the answer. Do you think the Garmin 305 would work too as you can export the route?

You need special software called Tacx Trainer software 1.1 to do this. I am not sure if your Garmin can save the files in the normal route format.

Thanks

I'm looking at buying an I-magic. Prices range incl. the steerer from R11k - R13,5k. I see many posts mentioning Cajees. Any web address for them or phone no?

Presumably you know that a TacX Flow (around 3K on the Hub) can be upgraded for about another 2K to use any VR software? I have the Argus, for instance, and it works a treat. The upgrade includes software, USB cable to PC and steerer. Steerer works on TacX software, not sure about real life video but can check it out tomorrow...

Chain reaction cycles;

No i dont think its worth having the steerer. If I knew then what i know now, i would not have bought it. If they create new programs that makes it more realistic, then yes but for now, it just a hazzle i feel.

The Tacx Trainer  GPS 1.1   software is an absolute  must; It has so many training features,that you dont get on the standard software with the trainer. I had to do quite a few updates through the internet so far, to get up to date with version 1.3.

Very interesting discussion. I am looking at the Computrainer at the moment as I was not aware that the Imagic has all these additions. Where can I see all the info on Imagic and what it's capable of doing as it's a lot cheaper than the Computrainer.

Dis anybody do a comparison between Computrainer and I Magic.
