nox1111 Posted November 24, 2009 Share Hey guys and ladyguys, I am a typical boy with toys kind of person...loves anything with wheels. Here are my 2 current favorites. I cant leave a bike stock, so none of my bikes ever are...unfortunately I have no way of justifying spending too much money on my bikes, so the parts are carefully chosen firstly for function/price, secondly for style (but it's a damn close second).Big smile The specs: Trailmonster: Mongoose Teocali 09 Frame w Fox RP23 Rockshox RVLTN 426 oil/coil Syncros FLR DS23 rims on BeOne 10mm t/a hubs Smallblock 8 rear and I cant remember what tire I have in front. nox1111 Posted November 27, 2009 Share That's quite a flag pole on the Teocali Nice rides! I reckon the Fuji needs a new colour I should not actually have posted pics of my bike with the flagpole...I just popped it in the bike when I bought it...my feet would not touch the pedals if I actually managed to get up there... I would love to slam it and use the bike for more all mountain riding, but Paarl has a lot of climbs; if you want to ride any trails, you need to get up them. The Fuji is staring at a new paintjob...the choices, the choices!

Bos Posted November 30, 2009 Share Dudes what happened to the ride??? DUDE.. We rode Jonkershoek (1st time in 12 months) that place is sill sick.. lets go again this weekend. I actually thought you had something on?? Might have been the voices speaking to me again. Ended Up being a bit of a *** mission. I had planned it around 2 friends comming along, the one oke was so darn late and made everyone late and kept us waiting so some of the bunch sped off and some had no energy and I was dangling in the middle NoX's Cleat came undone so they went back down and I ended up riding up the canary trail right to the very top waiting 5 minutes every 10 minutes so the okes could c atch up. When we finally got to the top I wsa so darn amped. Fired down with Relentless aplom. Oh man, pushing through cornerspumping and floating like a butterfly and then as I lift my front wheel to clear a sharp rock I make a fatal mistake.. I clip the rock.. I hear a "pinggg"(rim) no noise quite yet... but withing a minute the pssss started and I knew.. SNAKE BITE... I was in such a hurry not to keep everyone waiting that I had forgoten my spare tube and or patch = Bomb.. I walked the half of upper canary, middle and lower down to thae gate..Very pissed off.. So anyway, lets go back mabe this weekend.. We go Prepaired and dont take no slow riders with..There are so many trails and they are seriously good.. Tokai is more "aggressive" but these trails just flow and flow. Im keen
