mtbN00b Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I bought my girlfriend a merida juliet 20-v but since day one the grips are lose. How can a get it not to move around or off or should I take it back to the LBS where I bought it (which i do not hope to do) ?
parabola Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Replace them with lock on grips. Giant sell some for under R60. I dont even bother with the friction type ones, after one ride they are all twisted up.

MoreTrails Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Buy a new colourful pair of grips that match your bird / bike / outfit / gloves or hair colour and call it quits - throw the other away. And make sure they are lock on grips - done, no problem...
