Wow..I leave the computer for two hours and there are this many replies! Don't drink beer unfortunately TNT' date=' but I am feeling more relaxed now smiley2.gif

Seriously though obviously the system cannot check whether the picture is relevant or not, it would be helpful...smileys don't count as pics - they are embedded HTML.

Fair enough photo editing software does let you choose resolution and that is not always indicative of final size, but for the most part 640x480 comes in under 100k

It's seems though half the for sale ads don't have pictures and everyone berates the person, but no one really learns...next day same story with other hubbers?!?

Anyhow enough chit-chat, have a good weekend hubbers smiley4.gif [/quote']

Smiley codee {:)} - replace { wIth [ and } with ] - effectively translate to code {IMG}https://www.bikehub.co.za/smileys/smiley1.gif{/IMG} (again change curly brackets to square brackets) and then it is a picture and for all and sundry it stays a smiley

easiest way. right click on pic file. send to "mail recipient". you'll be prompted to an option "make all pictures smaller". when outlook pops up, click on attachment, save as. change the file name if you want. pic should be small enough to upload.
